My name is Alexander, I’m a graduate student of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (ISAA MSU) and now I am in China, in the province of Shandong, I study Chinese in 淄博职业学院 and prepare material for my dissertation on the foreign economic relations of China with the countries of Asia and Africa.

I began to study Chinese in 2011, after studying for 2 years at the Confucius Institute at Moscow State University. However, due to the fact that he worked in a field that was not connected with China and the Chinese language, the language gradually began to be forgotten, since there was nowhere to use it.

The initiative put forward by President of China Xi Jinping in 2013 to build the Silk Road economic belt attracted my attention, because our country not only warmly supported it, but after a while came up with a counter initiative to interface with the Eurasian Economic Union.

我最初被中国国家主席习近平在2013年提出的建设丝绸之路经济带的倡议吸引了,因为我国对此不仅给予了大力支持,而且不久后提出了反对与欧亚经济联盟对接的倡议。

Due to my interest in the Belt and the Way, I met many interesting people who explored this topic and were engaged in the development of economic relations with the People's Republic of China. Firstly, this is Leonid Abramovich Fridman, Doctor of Economics, Honored Professor of Moscow State University, who was able to inspire and direct young people to aspirations for new discoveries, and secondly, Doctor of Economics, Honored Professor of Moscow State University, Vitaliy Melyantsev, who later agreed to become my supervisor.

And after a few years, my desire took shape in the goal - to go to graduate school and study the Russian-Chinese relations more deeply and connect my life with China.

The research that I am currently conducting as part of the preparation of materials for the dissertation is the search for innovative forms and mechanisms of interaction between students and high school students from Russia and China, who have their own projects and startups.

作为毕业论文准备材料的一部分,我目前正在寻找具有自己的项目和创业公司的中国或俄罗斯高中生,他们项目中的创新形式和互动机制能使俄罗斯和中国的高中生与学生之间展开有机互动。

The best form that allows high school students and students to both study and try their hand at a startup is to take part in the work of the Laboratory.

This idea was born during an internship in the Skolkovo Foundation's project - “How to Become a Project Mentor”. The main goal of this project is that future specialists need to be taught as part of an approach based on design as the main type of activity of the participant - therefore, the creation of new forms of training is welcome.

Because the future specialist must simultaneously have design skills and be able to promote their ideas so that they change the surrounding reality, without remaining publications on paper or on the Internet. Since the launch of a project (product) into the real world can confirm the novelty and meaningfulness of the invention.

The main element of the Skolkovo concept - the Laboratory should be able to unite students, teachers, business representatives and scientists who are at the forefront of science. This should be a connection not only of people from different directions, but also of different ages in order to ensure the transfer of experience and knowledge.

Then, in such a children's and adult team, an opportunity arises for the children to really embed their educational product not just in the real industry, but in the real world.

After putting this idea into the concept of the 一带 一路 Lab laboratory, I tested this mechanism in the Tula region in practice at the Tula Region Development Corporation.

The laboratory was represented by three participants: From business - Deputy Director of the Department of Investment Activities Sergey Artemyev; as a student, Ilya Ryzhov, an intern at the Development Corporation, who studied Chinese for 1 year under the exchange program and I acted as a Mentor.

During the experiment, we confirmed that a bundle of three elements contributes to a faster and more effective assimilation of knowledge by a student, and also allows you to convert the knowledge gained into a specific product - according to the tasks from the leader.

The next experiment that we want to implement is already international - involving not only Russian, but also Chinese students, scientists, and business representatives in the Laboratory.

The university where I am currently studying (淄博 职业 学院) has its own platform - a business incubator. In this business incubator, various youth projects and start-ups are being developed, with which Chinese students take part in competitions and accelerators.

我正在就读的淄博职业学院的大学拥有自己的平台-商业孵化器。在这个企业孵化器中,正在开发各种青年项目和初创企业,中国学生可以参加这些竞赛以及加入这些加速器。

Here I was told that international teams can also take part in local accelerators, i.e. teams that consist of participants from several countries.

An idea came up to unite a team of guys from Russia who prepared their startup and a team of guys from China, and then jointly adapt the product for the Chinese market.

Such a Russian team was the KitBit team, which were finalists of the acceleration program of the Preactum Foundation. The Preactum Foundation implements a program in Russia, which is sponsored by private and state funds, in order to develop youth entrepreneurship in Russia. The KitBit team prepared a robot toy for young children, the distinguishing feature of which was the educational effect - playing, the child learns the basics of programming.

Since the Chinese market is quite capacious, this should be reasonable, because in this case the project has not only investors from the Chinese side, but also their expertise and their connections for entering and promoting the market. And at the same time, such a joint team can act on the basis of the principle of "mutual win", both for the Russian and Chinese sides. And secondly, students have a real chance in practice to gain knowledge on international cooperation between our countries.

由于中国市场相当大,而且这应该是合理的,因为在这种情况下,该项目不仅拥有来自中国方面的投资者,还有他们的专业知识和他们进入和促进市场的联系。同时,这样的联合小组可以在“互惠互利”的原则基础上对俄罗斯和中国方面采取行动。其次,学生在实践中有真正的机会来了解我们两国之间的国际合作知识。

Probably the most interesting was the search for the Chinese team. Otherwise, as a happy event, this can not be called.

Once returning from a lesson in the Chinese language, I just looked into one classroom, stood for a while, smiled at the Chinese students inside, when they came out, surrounded me and after a few phrases of acquaintance, invited me to come.

有一次上完中文课回来,我只是往一间教室里看了看,站了一会儿,对里面的中国学生笑了笑,当他们走出来的时候,把我围了起来,在认识了几句话之后,邀请我进去。

It turned out that this is a team that is preparing to participate in the 5th competition of student and innovative startups “Internet +” (第五届 中国 “互联网 +” 大学生创新创业 ). Since then, we began to get to know each other closer and the idea of creating a joint team was born. Later there was an acquaintance with the leadership of the business incubator, and with the leader of the Chinese team, and all this is thanks to a small smile and chance :)

The head of the Chinese team is actively helping us in implementing the idea. Under his leadership, we prepare a detailed plan, paint the composition of the team, the roles of participants, the concept of entering the market, preparing applications for electronic commerce and much more.

Of course, there were some difficulties. And the main difficulties encountered - as a student project, it is necessary to attract experts and mentors who would have the necessary experience in the development of the project. Secondly, it is necessary to work out the mechanism of interaction between our teams, because they are located in different countries. Therefore, additional assistance from experts with experience in implementing international projects is needed. Also, there is no clarity on some aspects of joint launch and production.

However, we do not lose hope and hope that the 一带 一路forum of stories organized by the All-China Youth Federation will allow us to find those who are willing to share the experience and knowledge of interested people.

Today, we consider the experiment in Zibo as a pilot project for setting up the mechanism of the 一带 一路 Lab laboratory. Since after all the roles of the participants are registered and interaction schemes are approved, and the first practical result is obtained, this model can be scaled.

The Russian Preactum Foundation, which conducts acceleration of student projects, including implemented projects in a mature stage, with sales and a well-organized organizational structure, is interested in bringing these projects to the stage of forming joint teams.

Secondly, ISAA MSU explores issues related to economic development throughout Asia and Africa, which coincides with the concept of the Belt and the Way. And students of our university, studying Persian, Indian, languages of Southeast Asia, Africa, according to the established scheme, will be able to develop cooperation and international cooperation with other countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt within the framework of the 一带 一路 Lab.

And in conclusion, I want to note that this story became not only my personal story, but united many hearts. And we feel the support of completely different people from different areas and from different countries.

I would especially like to highlight the support of the Russian Union of Youth represented by the head of international projects Popova Ekaterina, without which we would not have the opportunity to tell such a story, and also thank all the people who are partial to Russian-Chinese cooperation. We thank everyone who, together with us, is actually building a community of common destiny.
